America the Beautiful

This week, the United States got a new president. Barak Obama is now in the White House, leading the faith of millions of american and the entire world will fell the effect. Beyonce performed this music some days before the ceremony:

Violence and wildeness

Last night, I was sleeping when some noises of gun shots woke me. I look
through my window only to see how violent the police can be. It was really
an abuse of force and power, and I wonder how they can be so agressive and
rude.

They stopped two guys who were doing an illegal car race. But, instead they
only talk and take the guys arrested, they kicked the two young men, they
swore. It was horrible.

I was an involunteer witmess of the authorities intolerance. An unecessary
and useless violent practice that I hope one day will be banned from our
society.

For now, I drop this line only to say how sad I am... and how afraid we
could be. People who were supposed to take care of our security is abusing
of a power that they really don´t have.

Faith

Some people simply believe in god. Others are allways hearing to oracles.
There are also people who use amulets. No mather how much is the faith in
God, simbols are used everywhere to stop with Evil in the world.

In Matmata, Tunisia, people paint the Fatima Hand in the front door to keep
home out of the bad spirits. They also paint a fish who it is suposed to
bring fortune and wealth, and the family will get rid from famine forever.

Grand Canyon

I saw in a film: a man took a friend to the Grand Canyon (in Arizona, United
States) and told him that every time he wished to be near God, he went to
Grand Canyon.
Some years ago, I went there. I took a fly in a helicopter and then a I
walked around. It was sunset and I got lost when the darkness came. In spite
of the menace of wolfs, lynx, cougars, snakes, I was not afraid. I cannot
explain what I felt. There are not enough words to express my feelings.
Well, in fact I was not too far from the visitors center, and there were
some light in the way. But my main sensation that I was near from heaven...
