some notes about Led Zeppelin

Everyone has heard Stairways to heaven, Whola Lotta Love, Tangerine, Dancing
Days, some of the most famous music of Led Zeppelin.

Led Zeppelin is the name of the group created by Jimmy Page (guitar), John
Bonhan (drums), John Paul Jones (bass and keyboards) and Robert Plant
(vocals) in 1968.

The band was one of the most famous bands of the 1970's - beside Deep
Purple, Pink Floyd, Jethro Tull, and others. Although Led Zeppelin had
created the heavy metal, it became famous by it mix of styles like
rockabilly, reggae, blues, jazz. Its albuns sold more than 300 millions
issues all around the world and the only group to have all his albuns in the
top ten hit parade.

The group has finished in 1980 when the drumer John Bonhan died but they
join again in some ocasions like the live aid concert in 1985, with Chic in
the drums, and two years later with Jason Bonhan in the drums celebrating
the 40th birthday of the Atlantic Records.

Before the creation of the band, Jimmy Page had played in The Yardbirds, a
group of blues. With the end of the yardbirds, Page joined the new band.
